The global event scene has been hit hard by the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic currently moving at pace across the globe.

Indeed, reporting on the pandemic and it’s impact is proving difficult, due to an ever-changing situation and continually new developments relating to the outbreak.

And so it cam as no surprise, that in line with a growing list of local, national and international events, Szupernova have announced the cancellation of all events for the foreseeable future.

Szupernova have issued the following statement:

“Given the growing concerns around COVID-19, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel all forthcoming events, including the CAMBRIDGE TECH AND BEER event scheduled for, 12 March and AMSTERDAM TECH AND BEER scheduled for 19 March.

Each of our events are incredibly important not only for the team at Szupernova, but also for the wider tech communities we serve. But we need to prioritize the health and safety of our guests, sponsors, speakers and supporters.

For now we’ve put a hold on all of our events with a view to re-establishing them once advice from the authorities suggest it is entirely safe to do so.

For now we’d like to thank all of our supporters for their understanding and look forward to meeting you at a future Szupernova event.”
